[edit] Tips on Map Creation
- New to Google Maps? Read all about it.
- Zoom in and out around the map center by using the + and - buttons in the upper left of any map.
- Drag the map with the mouse to view to the north, south, east or west.
- Double click with the right mouse button to recenter the map and zoom in one level.
- Double click with the left mouse button to zoom out one level.
- Creating a map
- Create a new page
- At the top of the editor you will see a link titled: Make a Map to insert in your Article'
- Click that link and enter the address to the location you would like to display a map for.
- It's that simple
